Requirements
- Experience working in a data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence role.
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience using Python and Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis.
- Knowledge of Power Query and data preparation techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or supporting the development of others.
- Desirable: Experience within apprenticeship, vocational learning, or education environments.
- Desirable: Alteryx experience.
- Desirable: Experience with BigQuery, Google Sheets, Looker, and Google Workspace.
- Desirable: Teaching, training, or coaching qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor learners through regular one-to-one sessions and group workshops.
- Bring data concepts to life, making technical topics engaging, practical, and accessible.
- Help learners develop skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, data visualisation, and analytical thinking.
- Support learners to move beyond reporting and develop meaningful business insight.
- Encourage critical thinking and help learners understand the real-world impact of their analysis.
- Guide learners through programme milestones, assessments, and End Point Assessment preparation.
- Work collaboratively with employers and stakeholders to ensure learning has genuine workplace impact.
- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where learners can thrive.
