Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, high-performing distributed systems.
- Proven track record of building consumer-grade APIs managing versioning, deprecation, and consumption-based rate limiting.
- Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar modern backend languages.
- Proficiency with React and AWS.
- Deep understanding of agentic workflows and tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
- Strong grasp of software design principles, scalability, and system architecture.
- Experience prioritizing Domain-Driven Design.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments.
Responsibilities
- Drive system design output across the team and craft innovative software systems and APIs.
- Optimize software for scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to deliver customer experiences.
- Mentor mid-to-senior level engineers to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Lead initiatives to improve system efficiency and customer satisfaction.
