Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as analytics engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or data consulting.
- Fluent in SQL with experience optimizing query performance and managing warehouse costs in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Experience parachuting into complex engagements with multiple stakeholders to drive clarity and alignment.
- Proven ability to read and debug complex generated SQL code.
- Experience utilizing AI agents for data architecture and transformation tasks.
- Strong understanding of marketing outcomes and customer engagement dynamics.
- Familiarity with transformation tools such as dbt or SQLMesh (preferred).
- Experience with git-native, PR-driven workflows (preferred).
- Prior work experience with identity resolution, CDPs, or MDM (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Run discovery with marketing and data teams to define activation use cases and business goals.
- Profile customer data to architect solutions that close data gaps and ensure valid Hightouch configurations.
- Design target-state schemas and identity matching rules based on customer targeting needs.
- Direct agent-based builds, reviewing and refining generated models and transformations.
- Define and defend success metrics for data projects to senior customer leadership.
- Produce and maintain reference architectures and semantic layers to support ongoing customer operations.
- Provide product feedback to internal teams based on observed gaps in customer engagements.
