Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or security operations.
- Practical experience administering security controls in GCP and AWS.
- Experience securing Kubernetes environments (RBAC, cluster hardening, patch management).
- Strong vulnerability management experience including triage and remediation.
- Experience supporting secure integrations of LLM/AI services in production systems.
- Proficiency in one programming language: Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in healthcare technology or other highly regulated environments preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science preferred.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize security posture across GCP/AWS, including IAM, logging, and threat detection.
- Triage and respond to cloud security alerts and vulnerabilities with timely mitigations and patches.
- Manage cloud security configurations for consoles like GCP Security Command Center and Cloud Armor.
- Partner with DevOps to implement baseline security guardrails for network segmentation and encryption.
- Conduct vulnerability workflows across cloud services, hosts, and containers.
- Harden Kubernetes environments through RBAC, pod security controls, and image scanning.
- Support secure AI integrations by implementing data protection, network controls, and usage monitoring.
- Work with Risk and Compliance teams to support SOC 2/ISO audit evidence and security reporting.
- Participate in incident response for cloud-related security events.
