Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or decision support.
- Degree in a quantitative field (statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to design and validate complex queries.
- Experience using Python for analysis, automation, or data preparation.
- Proficiency with modern analytics tooling, ideally Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and Hex.
- Experience creating dashboards, defining business metrics, and communicating analysis to stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of product analytics, experimentation, retention, or lifecycle measurement.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing requests in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical judgment and communication skills to present recommendations clearly.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analytical work, translating ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
- Perform customer, product, and supply chain analytics, including behavior, retention, and funnel performance tracking.
- Write SQL to explore, validate, and analyze data in Snowflake and create reliable dashboards in Looker and Hex.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to define metrics, perform experimentation measurement, and provide decision support.
- Use AI tools to accelerate data exploration and SQL development while ensuring quality through rigorous validation.
- Manage data quality and self-service reporting, documenting logic and collaborating with analytics engineering on dbt models and LookML.
- Communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
