Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Data Lakes or Lakehouses.
- Strong experience developing enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions and scalable data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with modern data technologies (e.g., Oracle, Debezium, Kafka, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, StarRocks).
- Expertise in CDC, event-driven architectures, data versioning, and metadata management.
- Experience supporting large-scale data ingestion and distributed analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with SRE practices and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong experience with production Linux environments (e.g., RHEL, Oracle Linux).
- Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and dimensional modeling skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and continuously improve enterprise Data Lake and Data Lakehouse solutions.
- Develop scalable ETL and ELT pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
- Build and support real-time analytics platforms using tools like Kafka, Apache Flink, and StarRocks.
- Implement data quality, governance, lineage, and anomaly detection frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production data services, perform backfills, and optimize platform performance.
- Support Linux-based production environments including administration and systemd-managed services.
- Develop advanced SQL, data models, and semantic layers for enterprise reporting.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering standards.
