Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- 5–10+ years of experience in aerospace, spacecraft systems, or mission engineering.
- Proven experience with requirements development, systems integration, and interface management.
- Working familiarity with spacecraft subsystems (ADCS, EPS, propulsion, thermal, comms, flight software).
- Experience with MBSE, SysML, or equivalent modeling methodologies.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as Python, MATLAB, STK, GMAT, or Ansys.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience with LEO, MEO, GEO, or distributed satellite architectures is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jama, DOORS, Cameo, or MagicDraw is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Support mission architecture development, system-level trade studies, and CONOPS creation.
- Develop, allocate, and trace mission, spacecraft, and interface requirements throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate technical interfaces across spacecraft, payload, software, and ground systems.
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities using SysML-based tools.
- Participate in AI&T, integration, testing, environmental testing, and mission-readiness reviews.
- Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and mission simulations.
- Identify technical risks and resolve complex system-level issues across program phases.
