Requirements
- 5–6+ years of professional experience as a Senior or Lead Android Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Deep understanding of modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Kotlin Coroutines, and Flow.
- Experience with local data persistence and caching (Room, SQLite).
- Familiarity with Android lifecycle management and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to influence technical direction.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
- Availability to work within EMEA time zones.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Define scalable, maintainable mobile architectures focusing on performance and reliability.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful backend services and distributed systems.
- Optimize applications for memory, battery efficiency, and runtime responsiveness.
- Own the complete mobile application lifecycle from development through CI/CD and deployment.
- Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and product teams on seamless system integration.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to improve development standards.
