Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
- Proven ability to lead technical customer conversations and translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading AWS migration and modernization projects from initial discovery through implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and modern cloud architecture principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues in real time.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- AWS Professional or Specialty certifications (strongly preferred).
- Experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, pre-sales, or cloud consulting.
- Experience with data, machine learning, or AI technologies (advantageous).
Responsibilities
- Embed directly with customer environments, remotely or on-site, serving as the primary technical partner.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, customer discussions, solution scoping, workshops, and AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) assessments.
- Build rapid proofs of concept and working prototypes that demonstrate value.
- Design and implement AWS migration, modernization, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Identify new engagement and account expansion opportunities and lead the technical component of the sales process.
- Develop level-of-effort estimates and detailed statements of work.
- Support and mentor team members on AWS solutions, migration approaches, and field engineering best practices.
