Requirements
- Competed in NCAA Division I ice hockey.
- Experience working with young people in a coaching, tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or camp counseling role.
- Proven ability to earn student trust and provide direct, effective feedback.
- Strong communication skills for video sessions and written reporting.
- Reliable and organized with a track record of follow-through.
- Comfortable using AI tools and AI-powered learning platforms.
- Reliable internet and a quiet space for video sessions.
Responsibilities
- Guide students through their academic day during one-on-one video sessions to maintain focus and academic progress.
- Mentor young hockey players on game preparation, training habits, and the college hockey recruiting process.
- Build strong, consistent mentoring relationships based on trust, accountability, and honest feedback.
- Support learning through an AI-powered platform and assist in building effective study and time-management habits.
- Reinforce academy standards regarding effort, focus, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate regular updates on student progress to parents and staff.
