Requirements
- Competitive background in Division I gymnastics.
- Proven experience working with young people in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or camp counseling roles.
- Strong verbal communication skills for one-on-one video sessions.
- Clear written communication skills for parent and staff updates.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide direct feedback and build trust with young athletes.
- Access to a quiet workspace and reliable internet for video sessions.
- Comfortable using modern video, learning, and messaging platforms.
Responsibilities
- Guide students through their academic day over video to ensure focus and progress.
- Mentor student-athletes on the mental game, training habits, and balancing academic and athletic life using Division I experience.
- Build credible relationships to provide guidance, accountability, and honest feedback.
- Support learning through platform navigation, hard material assistance, and time-management coaching.
- Reinforce high standards for effort and conduct through direct, constructive feedback.
- Communicate regularly with parents and academy staff regarding student progress and needs.
