Requirements
- Division I softball competition background.
- Proven experience working with youth in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or teaching roles.
- Strong communication skills, specifically via video and written updates.
- Reliable, organized, and capable of managing student needs.
- Ability to provide direct feedback and hold standards for young athletes.
- Access to reliable internet and a quiet space for video sessions.
- Comfortable using video, learning platforms, and messaging tools.
Responsibilities
- Guide students through their academic day over video to ensure focus, effort, and pace.
- Mentor athletes on the mental game, training habits, recruiting, and balancing academics with sports.
- Build credible relationships to provide guidance, accountability, and honest feedback.
- Support learning by helping students navigate platforms, work through material, and build study habits.
- Reinforce academic and behavioral standards through consistent feedback.
- Provide clear updates to parents and academy staff regarding student progress.
