Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
4+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst role.
Proven experience shipping production data models.
Expert-level SQL skills.
Working knowledge of Python.
Fluency with LLMs and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
Experience with cloud data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
Familiarity with modern transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, Dataform, SQLMesh).
Git fluency, including branching, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer, Dagster, Prefect).
Experience with data governance, exploratory data analysis, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

Design, write, review and ship SQL models to transform raw data into usable data products.
Own and maintain the data transformation layer and data warehouse.
Proactively monitor data warehouse operations to identify opportunities for improvements in accuracy, coverage, and usability.
Translate ambiguous business requests into modeled data and establish clear business rules.
Implement processes for data quality, lineage, access, and retention across source databases.
Manage the data dictionary by documenting table and column origins for human and AI consumption.
Diagnose and resolve data incidents using a methodical approach.
Review peer code to maintain the hygiene of the production data environment.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to support data-driven decision-making.
