Requirements
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, SRE, or cloud operations experience in a production 24x7 environment.
- Direct on-call ownership for Kubernetes-at-scale environments.
- Deep expertise in GKE/EKS, node pool management, RBAC, network policies, and persistent storage (CSI/PVC).
- Hands-on experience with both public cloud (GCP/AWS) and on-premise/bare-metal infrastructure.
- Proficiency with observability stacks including Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with database reliability for PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Production experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux CD, and infrastructure as code via Terraform or Ansible.
- Understanding of SRE fundamentals including SLO/SLI/SLA definition and error budget management.
- Strong knowledge of container and Linux internals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for RCA documentation and engineering escalations.
Responsibilities
- Own 24x7 cloud infrastructure health across hybrid production environment including GKE and bare-metal Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage the end-to-end observability pipeline using Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Maintain database and storage reliability, including PostgreSQL replication and Redis cluster operations.
- Serve as L3 escalation authority for infrastructure incidents, leading troubleshooting bridges and root cause analysis.
- Define and maintain infrastructure SLOs, manage error budgets, and lead capacity planning.
- Author and maintain operational runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Partner with internal teams to validate operational readiness for infrastructure changes and GitOps pipeline updates.
