Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in service design or related disciplines.
- Portfolio showcasing mastery of service design methods (journey mapping, service blueprinting, ecosystem modeling, etc.).
- Experience working across the full service design lifecycle including research and backstage/frontstage design.
- Proficiency in service strategy, design research (qualitative and quantitative), and concept prototyping.
- Ability to design and facilitate collaborative workshops.
- Visual and communication design skills applied to service contexts.
- Experience in complex organizational environments or Fortune 500 consulting settings.
- Advanced degree in service design or a related discipline is preferred.
- Consulting experience is required for Senior and Lead level practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Work constructively as part of a small, collaborative team under the guidance of an Engagement Lead.
- Execute service design tasks including strategy, research, journey mapping, and concept creation.
- Facilitate workshops and design service blueprints to address client business objectives.
- Consult directly with client stakeholders while drawing on support from more experienced practitioners.
- Lead or co-lead project workstreams of varying complexity depending on seniority level.
- Mentor and coach clients to help build their internal service design capabilities.
- Support business development and client account growth for senior-level practitioners.
