Requirements
- 7+ years in software QA.
- 3+ years managing teams in game development.
- Proven track record of shipping at least one major AAA title.
- Expertise in developing test strategies, risk-based testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Ability and willingness to work a Wednesday - Sunday schedule.
- Familiarity with Jira and TestRail.
Responsibilities
- Define global QA strategy, test objectives, quality gates, and risk-based testing methodologies.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of QA Leads and testers.
- Oversee comprehensive test execution across functional, gameplay, performance, stability, and platform certification areas.
- Analyze defect data to drive root-cause analysis and preventative initiatives.
- Establish QA schedules and provide objective assessments of build stability and release readiness.
- Manage external vendors and co-development QA teams.
- Implement data-driven reporting to track build health, test coverage, and milestone progress.
