Requirements
- Experience leading operations across multiple brick-and-mortar locations (e.g., regional, district, multi-unit, or general management).
- Direct experience in payroll, recruiting, performance management, facilities, vendor management, inventory, scheduling, or call-center operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams while remaining close to daily work to diagnose and solve problems.
- Sound judgment regarding independent decision-making vs. escalating to founders or counsel.
- Practical approach to leveraging tools, contractors, automation, and AI for improved efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated record of holding teams accountable to measurable standards.
- Ability to travel up to 80% to studio locations.
- Must be based near a major US airport.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across the studio network, corporate team, call center, scheduling, inventory, and warehouse.
- Own recruiting, performance management, talent reviews, and workforce planning.
- Build and run scorecards, operating reviews, and a weekly accountability cadence for studio partners, regional leaders, and corporate functions.
- Run payroll and back-office administration accurately and on time, including corrections and exception handling.
- Make facilities, vendor, and location-spend decisions within agreed authority limits.
- Coordinate the operational response to labor, compliance, and legal matters.
- Identify recurring operating problems, address immediate issues, and install processes to prevent repeat failures.
