Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, buying, or procurement in CPG (food and beverage preferred).
- Direct experience placing and managing purchase orders end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with ERP purchasing transactions (Cin7 strongly preferred; NetSuite or similar acceptable).
- Proficiency with POs, receipts, and BOM systems.
- Strong planning math skills: coverage, days of supply, safety stock, minimum order quantity, and lot sizing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for building planning models.
- Experience managing international suppliers, multi-week ocean lead times, and global supply bases.
- Excellent written communication skills for managing external partner relationships.
- High level of organizational detail and ability to manage a large volume of open POs.
- Experience with S&OP, inventory reconciliation, and supplier scorecarding (nice to have).
- Exposure to EDI (SPS Commerce), WMS, QuickBooks, or FoodLogiQ (nice to have).
- Experience in co-manufacturer or contract packing environments (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Book capacity and production slots with canneries and co-manufacturers ahead of demand.
- Model tradeoffs between demand and production plans, documenting safety stock assumptions.
- Lead the supply side of monthly S&OP processes, including variance analysis and cash impact reporting.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of purchase orders in Cin7, from placement to receipt reconciliation.
- Track supplier lead times and production commitments, proactively managing delays and expediting at-risk orders.
- Develop and maintain partner performance scorecards.
- Coordinate with Fulfillment, Logistics, Finance, and Procurement on inbound freight, landed costs, and supplier relationships.
