Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing APIs, system interfaces, or data integrations.
- Demonstrated experience with structured data formats, API security, and automated testing.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, and technical documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system integration and data-flow issues.
- Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust (active Secret clearance highly preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain RESTful APIs, services, interfaces, connectors, and integration components.
- Analyze source and target systems, data models, interface requirements, dependencies, and error-handling needs.
- Implement secure data exchange, transformation, validation, orchestration, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Develop reusable integration services supporting evidence collection, workflows, analytics, and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with security engineers to apply authentication, authorization, secrets management, encryption, and secure-coding controls.
- Collaborate with data/analytics engineers to define schemas, mappings, data quality checks, and lineage.
- Develop automated unit/integration tests, interface documentation, ADRs, runbooks, and release notes.
