Requirements

- Specific experience in heavy industrial, energy, or data center sectors.
- Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings, ALTA surveys, and complex legal descriptions.
- Proven track record of negotiating with utility providers and municipal leaders.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
- Strong understanding of local zoning, environmental, and building codes.
- Experience managing third-party consultants and defining scopes of work.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across development, design, construction, and legal departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive permitting roadmaps including land use, environmental, and building permits.
- Represent the company at public hearings, planning commission meetings, and city council sessions.
- Conduct reviews of local building codes and ordinances to ensure infrastructure compliance.
- Secure necessary easements, rights-of-way, and resolve boundary disputes with legal teams.
- Manage third-party consultants such as civil engineers and environmental firms.
- Coordinate with utility providers to align service delivery with construction schedules.
- Maintain a site readiness dashboard to track critical paths and mitigation strategies for executive leadership.
- Formalize 'Ready to Build' packages for internal construction teams.
