Job Details

Minimum 5 years of commercial backend engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
Experience using AI agents across the full SDLC, including planning, architecture, implementation, and testing.
Ability to orchestrate and supervise AI coding agents.
Deep understanding of A2P/SMS concepts such as SMPP, routing, DLRs, CDRs, and wholesale messaging.
Experience working with PostgreSQL and asynchronous or event-driven processing.
Proven ability to take ownership of problems end-to-end.
Comfort working with ambiguous, evolving requirements.
Professional English (C1 level).
Experience with telecom, CPaaS, or carrier platforms is highly preferred.
Experience in billing, payments, or transaction-heavy domains is a plus.
Familiarity with Kubernetes-based production environments is a plus.

Own meaningful functionality end-to-end from design to implementation, testing, and production deployment.
Develop high-volume backend processing, APIs, routing, rating, and billing-grade data flows.
Utilize AI coding agents throughout the development workflow for exploration, implementation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
Build observability, testing, and failure handling mechanisms into the core solution.
Collaborate with senior engineers, SREs, and architects on technical decisions and production behavior.
Contribute to modular architecture to support parallel development by engineers and AI tools.
Support the platform through production readiness, migration, and ongoing operation.
