Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining production services at scale.
- Deep understanding of web and database fundamentals.
- Strong ownership of systems and ability to write high-quality, reliable code.
- Proven experience developing solutions to ambiguous problems.
- Desire to mentor and lift up other members of the team.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience with Elixir, React, Postgres, and Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Background in fintech and experience at a rapidly scaling company (nice to have).
- Genuine interest in Bitcoin.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop new features and products in the Elixir codebase powering web applications and API.
- Work closely in cross-functional teams to plan and scope new projects and initiatives.
- Present innovative solutions to senior leadership, aligning engineering initiatives with company goals.
- Own solving ambiguous technical and business problems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Ship high-quality, well tested code.
- Participate in code-reviews.
- Act as a key influencer in the team’s success, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Proactively identify and eliminate technical roadblocks.
