Requirements
- Background in Software Engineering, IT Administration, Cybersecurity Engineering or equivalent through experience
- Experience configuring resources with a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with Linux administration and scripting
- Understanding of the OSI network stack
- Ability to work as a team, make architectural decisions together, and provide and receive feedback
- Proficiency in an Infrastructure as Code language or framework such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework or Pulumi
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman or Kubernetes
- Experience or interest in DevOps and CI/CD
- Experience with Bash and/or Python
Responsibilities
- Provision and manage our product infrastructure across the product life-cycle, from development to production
- Develop, deploy and maintain cloud based architectures and systems using Infrastructure as Code
- Set up logging, telemetry and alerts to monitor application performance and our production systems
- Ensure our infrastructure and data are secure by implementing access controls, managing secrets and enforcing network security configurations
- Automate deployments and operational tasks, and develop scripts and playbooks for incident recovery
- Work in close collaboration with the platform team, product engineers and algorithm developers
- Provide guidance on industry best practices around design, testing, security and operations
