Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating a cloud analytical data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar).
- Experience with access control, data masking/governance, and compute management.
- Experience with containerized applications and CI/CD pipeline design (Buildkite, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Experience building or operating internal platforms, developer tooling, or self-service infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Comfort with REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, webhook ingestion, secrets management, and identity/SSO patterns.
- Ability to own alerts and runbooks and conduct root cause analysis for incidents.
- Prior experience joining an existing codebase or platform mid-stream with fast ramp-up capabilities.
- Strong written communication skills for async updates and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and extend platform capabilities such as provisioning, deployment pipelines, and access control.
- Maintain integrations between platform services and internal systems including CI/CD, identity, and secrets management.
- Support governance work including access control, data classification, and dynamic masking in Snowflake.
- Maintain and improve automation for self-service tooling and pipeline failure handling.
- Manage observability and incident response using existing telemetry, alerts, and runbooks.
- Participate in on-call rotation and triage production incidents.
- Document decisions and progress clearly to facilitate clean handoffs.
