Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in capture management, proposal management, or business development within aerospace, defense, or space industries.
- Proven track record of leading and winning complex federal and/or commercial proposals.
- Experience working on large-scale, technically complex space or defense programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with satellite systems, space infrastructure, communications, or ISR platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with capture frameworks like Shipley or APMP is preferred.
- Experience supporting both federal and commercial pursuits is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development including RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses.
- Manage technical and management sections of proposals while ensuring compliance and submission readiness.
- Shape early-stage opportunities through customer engagement, competitive positioning, and win strategy development.
- Partner with Business Development to identify and qualify new pursuits aligned with growth priorities.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal to deliver high-quality proposals.
- Drive internal alignment to ensure proposals reflect feasible, scalable, and competitive offerings.
- Provide insights and lessons learned to improve future capture and proposal efforts.
- Provide technical support at trade shows and conferences.
