Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery.
- 2+ years managing engineers.
- Proven leadership in forward deployed engineering, technical consulting, or heavily matrixed environments.
- Experience defining, scaling, and maintaining operational playbooks including intake standards and routing rules.
- Ability to transform ambiguous processes into clear, repeatable frameworks.
- Championed reusable assets, developer tooling (e.g., ADK/SDK patterns), and best practices.
- Experience owning operational governance across the delivery lifecycle, including compliance and cost telemetry.
- Deep familiarity with modern LLM ecosystems, agentic workflows, and cloud data platforms like Databricks, Gemini, Claude, or Cursor.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex AI paradigms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience measuring engineering ROI and managing vendor/licensing or infrastructure costs in production.
Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and manage a high-performing FDE team, including hiring, performance, and embedding engineers in specific lines of business.
- Define, scale, and maintain the FDE technical operating playbook to standardize intake, routing, and delivery models.
- Transform ambiguous organizational processes into clear, repeatable frameworks for intake routing, priority, and graduation.
- Align engineers, product owners, and business sponsors around shared technical standards, priority, and delivery roadmaps.
- Champion reusable assets, developer tooling, and best practices to improve team-wide efficiency.
- Set the technical bar for bottom-up AI optimization using enterprise frameworks like Databricks, Gemini, and Claude.
- Own end-to-end operational governance for FDE deliveries, including security, cost telemetry, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with divisional leaders to translate operational pain points into technical requirements and communicate capacity and outcomes.
