Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP.
- Experience within food, consumer packaged goods, or direct-to-consumer subscription environments.
- Proven experience building or managing an S&OP process.
- Strong Excel and financial or operational modeling skills.
- Ability to independently build and maintain demand forecasts.
- Experience planning across multiple facilities or a co-manufacturing network.
- Understanding of inventory planning, service levels, working capital, forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turns.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly S&OP cycle from demand forecasting through supply planning, reconciliation, and business alignment.
- Build and maintain demand forecasts by SKU and channel, incorporating promotions, subscription trends, and new product launches.
- Translate demand forecasts into supply and purchasing plans across the co-manufacturing network, identifying capacity constraints and lead-time risks.
- Establish and manage inventory targets and turns to balance service levels with working capital requirements.
- Develop reporting and planning tools to provide visibility into forecast accuracy, inventory health, and supply risks.
- Partner with Purchasing and Logistics to translate supply plans into purchase orders and inbound schedules.
- Identify potential out-of-stock risks and coordinate mitigation plans with Marketing, Fulfillment, and Customer Care.
