Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, including PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRRF, INSS, IRPJ, and CSLL.
- Familiarity with Brazilian fiscal routines; experience in an accounting firm or medium-to-large organization is a plus.
- Knowledge of ancillary tax obligations such as EFD-Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, DCTFWeb, ECD, ECF, MIT, and DIMOB.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with Oracle EBS and Tax One is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of or genuine interest in artificial intelligence, including AI tools, applications, and concepts.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with different stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform the calculation and control of federal and municipal taxes, ensuring fiscal routines are completed accurately and in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Review, book, and reconcile issued and received invoices, ensuring appropriate tax classification and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and submit ancillary tax obligations and support fiscal reconciliations and monthly closing activities.
- Organize documentation, controls, reports, and supporting evidence for internal and external audits, helping identify and mitigate fiscal risks.
- Support tax-related improvement and automation projects, including initiatives connected to Brazilian tax reform and system parametrization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of fiscal processes by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Apply a digital mindset and explore the use of technology and artificial intelligence to improve processes, experiences, and business outcomes.
