Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
- Intermediate or advanced Spanish proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Practical knowledge of accounting reconciliations and IFRS 16 concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Consistent adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance standards.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and propose automation solutions.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and market needs.
- Experience with SAP FI (desirable).
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Execute and support end-to-end accounting operations for the Brazilian market, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Perform accounting analyses and reconciliations, identifying root causes to ensure the reliability of financial information.
- Prepare accurate balance sheet account compositions and reconciliations within established deadlines.
- Act as a key point of contact between Accounting Operations and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, SLAs, accounting policies, and internal controls.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, data traceability, and audit readiness.
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities through process standardization and automation.
- Serve as a functional backup for the team and support onboarding activities.
