Requirements
- 10+ years of QA experience combining manual and automation testing in software development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, MCA, M.Sc. in IT, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman/Newman, Pytest, or similar technologies.
- Strong scripting and programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or Java, particularly for test automation.
- Experience testing web applications built with technologies such as PHP, ReactJS, and Node.js.
- Solid experience with RESTful API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, custom scripts, or comparable tools.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar version control and CI/CD technologies.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks covering UI, APIs, and backend systems.
- Perform end-to-end testing across web applications, RESTful APIs, backend services, and telephony systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Analyze test results and defect trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to development teams.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage and performance benchmarks are achieved before product releases.
- Participate in product design and code reviews, providing input on testability, quality risks, and release readiness.
- Continuously improve QA processes, testing tools, automation frameworks, and methodologies.
- Support reliable and repeatable testing practices across diverse platforms and technical components.
