Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification required.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including financial consolidation, intercompany transactions, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and international subsidiaries.
- Demonstrated experience operating in a high-growth, multi-entity environment.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing accounting teams.
- Strong experience with financial close, consolidated reporting, internal controls, and audit management.
- Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong understanding of accounting technology and AI-enabled process improvement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end corporate accounting function, overseeing financial close, consolidation, reporting, compliance, audit, tax, and accounting systems.
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across U.S. and international entities.
- Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
- Own the external audit relationship and coordinate audit activities.
- Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment and scalable accounting infrastructure.
- Lead the accounting technology roadmap, including optimization of NetSuite and implementation of AI-enabled tools.
- Manage, mentor, and develop an accounting team of approximately 4–8 employees.
- Partner with the CFO on M&A, debt financing, tax strategy, and investor relations.
