Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10 years of supervisory experience.
- Proven expertise in managing accounting functions for small to medium-sized enterprises.
- Strong experience with NetSuite and other accounting software packages.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Adaptive leadership style with a passion for mentoring.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- CPA license, CMA, or MBA are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 6 to 10 accounting professionals.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for scalable accounting operations, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the month-end closing process and issuance of financial reports for up to 15 clients.
- Partner with client leadership on operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop annual budgets, maintain cash forecasting tools, and monitor budget performance.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate tax information, audit support, and compliance with government reporting requirements.
