Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in security engineering or software engineering, including at least 3 years leading application and cloud security initiatives.

Deep expertise in application security, secure coding, and OWASP Top 10.
Extensive cloud security experience covering identity, network, and data protection.
Proven experience with security automation and policy-as-code in CI/CD pipelines.
Strong background in threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Experience in detection engineering, logging, monitoring, and incident response at scale.
Knowledge of AI/LLM security, including prompt injection and data leakage threats.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
Hands-on expertise with AI development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
Availability for a 6-month contract assignment.

Define security architecture and engineering standards across web applications, APIs, and cloud-native systems.
Lead threat modeling, security design reviews, and risk assessments for application and AI systems.
Architect and implement cloud security controls including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.
Integrate security automation and policy-as-code into CI/CD pipelines.
Manage detection engineering, security logging, monitoring, and incident response.
Develop defenses for AI and LLM applications against risks like prompt injection and data leakage.
Partner with product and engineering teams to shape security strategy.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and technical guidance.
