Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline, or 4 additional years of professional experience.
- 13+ years of experience delivering solutions based on microservices architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Strong SQL skills and database performance tuning experience.
- Experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong experience with JUnit test coverage and code quality standards.
- Proven experience conducting peer code reviews.
- Experience with Agile project management tools like VersionOne.
- Production support experience, including incident management and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Engineer cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, databases, and data pipelines to support high-availability systems.
- Build and maintain CI/CD automation using Jenkins and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
- Develop comprehensive automated unit tests using JUnit to improve software reliability.
- Conduct peer code reviews and establish engineering standards.
- Provide production support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and cloud engineering stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
