Requirements
- PhD or equivalent depth in industrial-organizational psychology, behavioral or decision science, labor economics, statistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of following applied research through to tangible business or product outcomes.
- Hands-on quantitative skills including causal and quasi-experimental methods.
- Experience with psychometrics and survey design.
- Working fluency in Python or R and SQL for large, real-world data sets.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to senior executives and handle critical questioning.
- Experience working within strict data-use and privacy boundaries.
- Optional: Domain depth in compensation, total rewards, pay equity, or people analytics.
- Optional: Experience with labor-market or compensation benchmark data.
- Optional: Prior consulting or customer-facing analytics experience.
Responsibilities
- Frame research questions, design measurements, conduct quantitative analysis, and author research findings.
- Integrate proprietary pay-decision data with external labor-market, survey, and benchmark data.
- Build ROI models connecting pay governance to metrics like attrition, cost, risk, and performance.
- Present research findings to senior stakeholders including CHROs and CFOs.
- Partner with product and data science teams to embed research insights into platform features and reporting.
- Co-author external reports, articles, and executive briefings.
