Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience working with data visualization tools and dashboard design.
- Experience working with educational data and familiarity with K-12 schools.
- Ability to translate complex data into digestible and actionable information.
- Experience working independently on projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and improving educational outcomes.
- Nice to have: Experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.
- Nice to have: Experience working with a K12 Student Information System such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries.
Responsibilities
- Engage with school district leaders and educators to understand their data analytics needs and to educate diverse stakeholders on how to effectively use dashboards.
- Design and develop customized metrics and dashboards.
- Utilize SQL for database management and queries to ensure accurate data solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for data dashboards by troubleshooting and resolving platform and data quality issues.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product teams to enhance the data platform.
