Requirements
- 5+ years of end-to-end product design experience, preferably in health tech or complex enterprise SaaS.
- Master-level proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, component variables, dynamic states, plugins).
- Proven experience with design system management, tokenization, and scaling libraries.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven prototyping or generative design tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use research and data-driven insights to de-risk projects.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with clinical or data safety guidelines.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design and systems thinking.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully within an established product organization quickly.
- Strong communication skills for conveying design rationale to technical and non-technical partners.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and setting direction with limited guidance.
- Availability to work standard business hours with US time zone overlap.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design across active product streams, partnering with Product Management to refine problem spaces and navigate ambiguity.
- Audit existing clinical and operational workflows using user research, data, and design reviews to improve efficiency.
- Maintain scalable components and dynamic patterns within the Figma-based design system.
- Design system architectures that handle complex data, dynamic error states, and diverse user environments.
- Build prototypes from low-fidelity wireframes to interactive high-fidelity flows.
- Integrate AI tools into design workflows to accelerate discovery and exploration.
- Lead user research and discovery initiatives to mitigate risk before build.
- Ensure compliance with clinical safety and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and cross-functional design reviews.
