Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in information systems with a focus on enterprise cybersecurity.
- 5+ years of experience providing enterprise cybersecurity through policy, architecture, and training.
- Experience developing plans to safeguard sensitive data against unauthorized modification or disclosure.
- Experience with Agile teams and SAFe, including responding to security assessments and vulnerability audits.
- Experience developing, negotiating, and administering data sharing agreements, MOUs, or ISAs.
- Working knowledge of the Privacy Act of 1974, records retention requirements, and federal data classification standards.
- Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) or similar privacy risk reviews.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and validation.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS.
Responsibilities
- Support analysis of systems, programs, and planning activities related to data privacy and data sharing.
- Perform research to support privacy policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Design and implement solutions that meet data privacy and sharing requirements.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) of systems and applications throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define and maintain data classification, retention, and handling rules for sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII).
- Draft, review, and administer data sharing agreements, MOUs, and interconnection security agreements (ISAs).
- Partner with governance, legal, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and federal regulations.
- Maintain a data sharing inventory and monitor agreements for renewal, compliance, and risk.
