Requirements
- 6+ years of professional data engineering or related software/data platform engineering experience.
- 3+ years of meaningful hands-on experience developing production solutions with Snowflake.
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating production-grade ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, data modeling, and query tuning.
- Strong Python development skills for data processing, integrations, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platform integrations.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, relational databases, and SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
- Understanding of data quality, lineage, metadata, and role-based access control.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest and transform data from enterprise applications.
- Develop high-quality Snowflake data models, schemas, and reusable data engineering components.
- Build and maintain data integration and orchestration workflows using Windmill.
- Implement secure cloud engineering solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Enforce data quality, governance, and observability through automated testing, validation, and monitoring.
- Utilize AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into reliable technical solutions.
