Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 8+ years designing and owning production data architecture.
- At least one event-driven or streaming pipeline built and run at scale.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS.
- Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
- Experience designing systems operating under real data-security/compliance constraints (PII/PHI).
- Track record of setting or reviewing architecture standards for other engineers.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with sign-off authority.
Responsibilities
- Design the architecture for the event-driven pipeline that carries new Partner data from the HFPP warehouse into deployed fraud signals and out to Partner alerts.
- Own sign-off on the pipeline architecture and any material changes to it.
- Set standards for pipeline scalability, fault tolerance, and signal onboarding.
- Build the hardest pieces of the infrastructure yourself, including proof-of-concept integrations.
- Design within data-security and PII/PHI constraints.
- Work with Data Science to align fraud signal logic with pipeline architecture.
