Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting or audit experience
- Strong understanding and appreciation of the trans experience
- Understanding of the monthly close processes
- Comfort with GL reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Ramp and/or BILL
- Ability to work in a fully remote environment
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly close process with in-month and end-of-month activities
- Manage input of journal entries
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliation and posting
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Perform all monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain weekly input of bank transactions
- Perform daily Ramp and BILL entries
- Assist with annual tax preparation and documentation requests
- Assist with annual audit process
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Contribute to developing and implementing best practice accounting procedures
