Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional security experience.
- Hands-on experience leading complex corporate-security and workplace investigations.
- Practical fluency with detection engineering as code, authoring, and tuning in version-controlled pipelines.
- Experience with forensic evidence collection, chain-of-custody discipline, hashing, and eDiscovery workflows.
- Strong understanding of legal context for management-side reviews and evidence handling.
- Experience securing Google Workspace, Okta, GitHub, and Atlassian environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code workflows using Terraform and Python.
- Experience working with managed SOC or MSSP and escalation management.
- Familiarity with PCI evidence collection and response processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Author, tune, and maintain detections as code in SIEM/SOAR pipeline using version control.
- Operate email, endpoint, and DLP security controls, including investigating high-sensitivity signals.
- Lead complex investigations into employee conduct, insider risk, and data exfiltration with strict confidentiality.
- Conduct forensic analysis across endpoint, identity, email, cloud, and SaaS sources.
- Deliver workforce security training, threat intelligence, and tabletop exercises.
- Coordinate with third-party managed SOC, forensic vendors, and external counsel.
- Define security requirements and detection coverage for identity and audit collection.
