Requirements
- 8+ years of applicable sales, sales engineering, or insurance operations experience in a solution-based environment.
- Proven track record in the insurance or reinsurance sector with experience in risk assessment, underwriting, exposure management, or claims analysis.
- Expertise in leveraging insurance knowledge to support SaaS sales, specifically for geospatial solutions.
- Ability to translate insurance use cases into geospatial solutions and articulate the value of risk assessment tools.
- Deep understanding of insurance distribution models, MGAs, program administrators, and wholesale brokers.
- Proven success providing presentations to non-technical audiences and articulating business value.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Experience with AI enablement.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions with sales executives and prospective customers to define business requirements.
- Compose and deliver value-based software demonstrations and presentations to prospective audiences, both in-person and remotely.
- Take the lead on coordinating and completing customer proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and other required documentation.
- Provide limited post-sale support to key customers and project teams to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Build and deliver presentations at industry events and trade shows.
- Maintain a database of competitive information, battle cards, and go-to-market materials in collaboration with Product Marketing.
- Consult with customers on the technical implications of migrating to cloud solutions alongside Cloud Operations and Professional Services teams.
- Lead client-facing discovery sessions to analyze existing integrations and document technical requirements.
