Requirements
- High school diploma, trade school certification, or college degree (relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree).
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing or calling on paper industry clients.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Technological proficiency for modern business communication.
- Valid driver license in good standing with a stellar driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work safely at heights, including climbing ladders.
- Flexibility to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the Southeastern US territory.
Responsibilities
- Participate in on-site sales and gear inspections to understand customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cold calls and generate sales leads.
- Create, submit, and follow up on quotes and RFQs.
- Document and track business opportunities and customer interactions in the company database.
- Diagnose technical errors and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Manage on-site projects and maintain a travel itinerary.
- Coordinate with the technical team and provide regular progress reports.
