Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 15 years of project management experience in the Power Delivery/Utility industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience serving utility clients (IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis).
- Minimum 5 years experience leading engineering or construction teams for high-voltage/EHV projects.
- Expertise in Contract Management and Earned Value Management.
- Experience with Change, Risk, and Schedule Management, including Primavera P6.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint).
- Ability to travel periodically for face-to-face meetings at WSP or client offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the regional project management team.
- Provide project management for high-voltage and EHV projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project deliverables meet corporate and client quality, budget, and safety standards.
- Oversee recruiting plans, employee reviews, and staff performance guidance.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and maintain regular status reporting with clients.
- Coordinate resources, subcontractor requirements, and technical reviews.
- Drive strategic project management initiatives and support contract negotiations.
