- Current or previous workers compensation claims adjusting license in the Midwest.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients.
- Conduct claimant and witness interviews and take recorded statements.
- Manage benefit payments, including lost wage benefits.
- File required state forms and manage regulatory documentation.
- Handle claims litigation and subrogation processes.
- Communicate professionally with CEOs, claimants, medical providers, and attorneys.
