Requirements
- Degree in English language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
- Strong expertise in English grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.
- Experience in peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or hands-on linguistic analysis.
- Ability to provide clear, metacognitive communication and show your work.
- Must be able to supply a secure computer and high-speed internet.
- Must be a resident of New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Converse with the AI model on various language scenarios.
- Verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs.
- Challenge models on topics such as sentence structure, verb tense, word usage, idiomatic expressions, and phonetics.
- Capture and document reproducible error traces for identified failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
