Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of paper process chemistry and papermaking processes.
- Experience with the application of retention and drainage chemistries is a plus.
- Advanced product line knowledge in area of specialization.
- Ability to develop effective chemical program recommendations and proposals.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis to evaluate program performance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce for sales operations.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.
- Prior commercial experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support and implement strategy alongside the sales team using best-in-class methods for chemistry management solutions.
- Develop and support new value-added service offerings.
- Coordinate activities between New Ventures, Strategic Growth, and Sales teams across the region.
- Provide external marketing and field-based sales support.
- Perform monthly reporting on all activities.
- Utilize Salesforce to identify and track key commercial opportunities.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for local sales teams.
- Perform administrative tasks to support daily business operations.
