Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- 2+ years of foreclosure or mortgage default related experience.
- Knowledge of mortgage banking, RESPA, FDCPA, GLBA, OCC, CFPB, and SCRA.
- Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access).
- Proficiency with MSP and LoanSphere applications.
- Strong professional communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workflows, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience monitoring activity of multiple accounts assigned to outside counsel.
Responsibilities
- Work with governmental agencies and investors to provide foreclosure issue resolutions and mitigate loss.
- Provide status updates and reporting to management while ensuring compliance with agency, investor, and insurer guidelines.
- Support internal business units with questions on foreclosure loans within their delegated authority.
- Manage attorney communication through LoanSphere and ensure appropriate maintenance of foreclosure portfolios.
- Calculate and provide bidding instructions to attorney firms for nationwide foreclosure sales.
- Maintain knowledge of state/federal agency regulations and document requirements for judicial and non-judicial foreclosures.
