Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience in events management and/or communications/marketing.
- Understanding of key administrative duties.
- BSc/BA in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Administration, or related field (experience accepted in lieu of education).
- Proven ability to support event and/or conference planning, including webinars, stakeholder meetings, and in-person events.
- Comfort with virtual event management platforms such as Zoom or Teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily event administration, including monitoring event-related emails and maintaining records and the event tracker.
- Process invoices and payments, and support staff receiving funding for event participation.
- Manage contracts, speaker agreements, nomination letters and other documents throughout the finalization process and legal clearance.
- Collate quarterly statistics for Event progress reports.
- Support event logistics for major event and large delegations, including participant registrations, accommodations, transport, and meeting venues.
- Proactively lead communications around Verra’s engagement at external events, including social media, website content, and news announcements.
- Manage inventory and print requirements for communication materials for major events.
- Manage internal event communications and updates to enhance collaboration.
- Serve as the primary contact for CEO briefing notes related to bilateral meetings.
- Coordinate recommendations and comprehensive briefing materials for CEO public-facing engagements.
